Drink Mercy

Mercy is a lightly carbonated, non-alcoholic beverage that helps prevent hangovers. It is not an energy drink. It is not electrolyte water. Actually, Mercy is better than both of those things.

A miracle in a can, Mercy packs more power than electrolyte-enhanced waters and recovery drinks. Drinking Mercy helps prevent hangovers, detoxifies the body, boosts its defenses, alleviates alcohol flush and replenishes key nutrients. It works by restoring nutrients and eliminating toxins, like acetaldehyde, alcohol’s unhealthy by-product, so hangover symptoms like headaches and nausea do not have a chance to set in.

There's Lots of Science

Your hangover is a chemical process. Just having one glass of wine or one shot of tequila results in your body producing a nasty toxin called acetaldehyde – which is considered 30 times more dangerous than alcohol itself. That’s where Mercy comes in. Seven years in the making, Mercy’s unique blend of amino acids, antioxidants and vitamins help boost your body’s natural defenses and rid your body of acetaldehyde.

There is no fairy dust. We packed Mercy with amino acids, vitamins, antioxidants, electrolytes and herbal supplements that work together to help effectively eliminate toxins produced in the body when alcohol is consumed. That means you won’t experience hangover symptoms or alcohol flush (an uncomfortable and embarrassing condition that mainly affects those of Asian descent).

The ingredients in each serving of Mercy help your body detox, boosting your body’s defenses and replenishing key nutrients lost during a night of drinking. Drinking Mercy, during or shortly after alcohol consumption, encourages your body to produce more glutathione, a naturally occurring substance that neutralizes dangerous free radicals and helps the liver remove toxins such as acetaldehyde, the unhealthy byproduct of alcohol and the main cause of hangovers and alcohol flush.

And you sleep better. Poor sleep and fatigue after a night of drinking is often due to the loss of the amino acid glutamine, depleted by alcohol. Your body works hard to produce more of it throughout the night, waking you up in the process. Mercy helps you retain glutamine, so you sleep soundly.

The best part - drinking Mercy provides both immediate and cumulative health benefits.

The Angel in the Details

It’s not just what is in Mercy that makes a difference; how we make Mercy matters, too. Mercy is cold-filled and canned, unlike most other functional beverages. This preserves its effectiveness because vitamins and nutrients degrade when exposed to light and heat. Remember this the next time you see anything in a clear plastic bottle that claims to be good for you.

Many beverages claim to have vitamins, minerals and amino acids – but most of these are heated during the production process, and high temperatures mean the active ingredients become less effective. Then these beverages are put into clear plastic bottles, which let light and air penetrate, reducing their effectiveness. We cold-fill Mercy and package it in an airtight can so when you open it, you are getting the most effective level of our unique nutritional supplements possible.

Your Party Companion

Enjoy a chilled Mercy while you drink alcohol or shortly after – or, even better, have a can of Mercy right before you go to sleep. You can even use Mercy as a mixer, but for the best benefits, drink one full can of Mercy for every three to five cocktails. We recommend not having more than three cans of Mercy per day (since you probably should not have more than nine alcoholic drinks).

Mercy is most effective when consumed during or shortly after drinking. It’s hangover prevention, not a hangover remedy. Though some people say it helps lessen a hangover the next day, why risk it? Mercy’s light, natural citrus flavor makes it easy – have your bartender mix it with a cocktail or enjoy a nice cold Mercy in-between drinks. You can even drink Mercy at the end of the night instead of (or as well as) water.

Try Mercy with vodka, gin, tequila, sake or Campari. You can also mix Mercy with champagne (a Mercy mimosa) or white wine (Mercy sangria). If you want cocktail ideas from our master mixologist, Alex Ott, check out our cocktail recipes.

We recommend one can of Mercy for every five alcoholic beverages. Just remember that mixed drinks, such as a vodka Mercy, generally do not include a full can. Always serve Mercy chilled or over ice.
